Information we collect
For newsletter subscriptions, we collect your email address, optional first name, frequency, topic preferences, consent record, and subscription status. Contact and service forms collect the contact details and message you choose to provide.

Attribution and request data
Newsletter signup records may include the page, referral source, campaign parameters, IP address, and browser user-agent. We use this limited request metadata for attribution, abuse prevention, rate limiting, operational diagnosis, and an auditable consent record.

How we use information
We use the information to deliver the briefings and preferences you request, send confirmation or reactivation messages, answer inquiries, operate the service, diagnose delivery problems, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable obligations.

Service providers
We use service providers to run the website and communications. These can include our hosting and database providers, Resend for email delivery, Discord for limited operational notifications, and beehiiv where legacy newsletter synchronization is configured. They receive only the information needed to perform those functions.

Storage and retention
Subscription data is stored in the newsletter database and may also appear in restricted server-side audit backups. We retain records while needed to provide the service, document consent, honor suppression or unsubscribe choices, resolve operational issues, and meet legal or security requirements. Inquiry messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the conversation and related records.

Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information or subscriber lists. We share information only with the service providers described above, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, our users, or our rights.

Your choices
Every newsletter includes controls to update preferences or unsubscribe. We may retain a limited suppression record after an unsubscribe so that the address is not added again automatically. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to records we must retain for legal, security, or suppression purposes.
